AMBAT ICONCRANES PVT LTD is a Thane-headquartered, Ambernath-manufactured overhead crane and hoist company serving Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Pune and the wider Maharashtra industrial belt, with export enquiries handled for UAE. We manufacture single girder EOT cranes, double girder EOT cranes, goliath and semi-goliath cranes, wire rope electric hoists, grab bucket cranes, jib cranes, flame-proof cranes and complete steel plant equipment - ladles, C-hooks, coil tilters, transfer cars - engineered up to 150 tonnes SWL and built to IS 807 and IS 3177 duty classifications.

As a family-led business, the same promoter-level involvement that founded the company is still present in every large enquiry today - from first site visit through to commissioning sign-off. Beyond domestic manufacturing, we are the India representative for Kroll Cranes (Denmark) for tower and luffing cranes, and Ardelt Kranbau (Germany) for ship-to-shore, slewing and goliath port cranes, giving customers access to specialised marine and heavy-construction lifting equipment alongside our own factory-built crane range.

Q1. What is the maximum crane capacity Ambat Iconcranes can manufacture?
We manufacture EOT, double girder and goliath cranes with systems engineered up to 150 tonnes safe working load (SWL), built to IS 807 and IS 3177 duty classifications.
Q2. Do you supply cranes outside Mumbai and Thane?
Yes. We manufacture and supply pan-India, with installation and AMC service concentrated across Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Ambernath, Taloja and Pune, plus export enquiries for UAE.
Q3. What is the difference between a single girder and double girder EOT crane?
A single girder crane uses one box girder and suits loads up to 15 Ton over spans up to 18 M. A double girder crane uses two girders for higher capacity (up to 150 Ton) and longer spans, with better hook height and approach.
Q4. Can you service or repair a crane you did not originally manufacture?
Yes. Our AMC, inspection, spare parts and retrofit services cover third-party equipment already installed at a customer's site, not only cranes we built.
Q5. What standards are your cranes built to?
Our cranes are manufactured to IS 807 and IS 3177 (Class II duty as standard, Class IV continuous duty on request), with AISE, DIN, JIS and FEM references applied for export and specialised applications.
Q6. Do you offer crane automation and VFD retrofit for existing cranes?
Yes. We manufacture PLC, VFD and servo-based control panels in-house and can retrofit VFD drives, anti-collision devices and radio remote control onto existing cranes as part of a modernisation upgrade.
Q7. What is included in a crane AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract)?
AMC packages range from a single scheduled inspection to a full long-term contract covering periodic inspection, lubrication, wire rope checks, brake adjustment and limit switch calibration.
Q8. How is EOT crane pricing determined?
Price depends primarily on SWL capacity and span, followed by duty class, single vs double girder, hoist type, drive type (VFD vs fixed speed) and any add-ons such as flame-proofing or anti-collision devices.
Q9. Do you supply port, marine and offshore cranes?
Yes, through our partnerships with Kroll Cranes (Denmark) and Ardelt Kranbau (Germany) we supply and support ship-to-shore, slewing, goliath port, mobile harbour and level-luffing cranes.
Q10. How long does a new crane order take from enquiry to delivery?
Standard single or double girder EOT cranes with clear capacity and span are typically quoted within a few working days; custom, port/marine or partner-brand equipment enquiries take longer due to site-specific engineering.
